Brown Bag Session: Web Scraping (Loop) In-Person
Have you ever wanted to copy the information off of several web pages in a systematic way?
Is there a table on a web page that you'd really like to put into an Excel file but that would require copying each value into a cell?
Have you had a faculty member or student ask you about scraping the web?
If you have answered yes to any of these or if you would like to learn more about webscraping, bring your lunch and participate in a demonstration of the webscraper.io tool, a free Chrome and Firefox add-on that allows you to take information off of any webpage and put it into a CSV file format. This session is for library staff only.
