The John T. Richardson Library has solo booths, group study rooms and work tables, media studios, and meeting and conference rooms available to book.

John T. Richardson Library Floor Plans

Meeting and conference rooms are available in the John T. Richardson Library for DePaul-related activities such as meetings, lectures, workshops, and events. These spaces are intended for groups of 5 or more.

All rooms include modular tables and chairs, whiteboards, and windows. Technology per room varies, but includes a computer and display screen or projector, except for JTR 400 Dorothy Day Room which has no technology. 

Use of these spaces requires approval by library staff. Reservation requests will be approved during business hours (Monday - Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.) Reservations are not guaranteed until they are confirmed by library staff.

Reservation Policies
  • Reservation requests must be made at least 1 business day in advance.
  • All rooms can be booked by faculty and staff; Rooms 300 and 400 can also be booked by recognized student organizations
  • Rooms are booked in 30-minute time slots, up to four hours
  • Subject to the Room Reservation and Use Policy
